University Programs Council

UPC logoThe University Programs Council (UPC) is a student-led Agency organization that works closely with the Student Activities staff to provide a variety of entertaining and educational activities and events. UPC is one of the key leaders in the University's Afters Hours late night programming initiative and is responsible for putting on many of the major and well-loved events across Grounds including Rotunda Sing, hypnotist Tom Deluca, Murder Mystery Dinner, Puppies and Pumpkins, and Springfest to name a few.

Founded in 1932 as the University Union, UPC has been providing programming for students for over 85 years. While the name has changed, the committees have evolved, and the programming has adapting to the changing needs of students, the spirit of UPC remains the same, to provide fun, encourage play, and build community.
